feelin hot hot hot !!

We are having a little mini heatwave here!! After all the wind and rain it is a nice change to be greeted by sunshine! :-)
The last 2 days have been lovely and warm and sunny! Of course we have been in work/school , so haven't been able to take full advantage, and on Monday when we were all off ( Bank holiday) it drizzled! Typical!
We took Ryan over the Mersey on Monday to "New Brighton" we visit New Brighton a lot, it is only 15 minutes away from us so quite handy.
When we arrived on Monday though, the place was HEAVING!!! At first we thought there must be some event on, that we didn't know about, but it was just everyone heading to the beach because it was bank holiday! Usually it is very quiet but it took us 45 minutes to try and find a parking space, thats how busy!
By the time we had parked the car and walked to the beach it was very overcast and dull, undaunted we looked for crabs in the rockpools ( found 2 dead ones!)Before heading to the beach to play badminton, after about just 5 minutes the drizzle started :-( The sky was black, poor Ryan was eating ice-cream in the rain! ( Needless to say this delighted him!) had no option but to head for home again! Typical English Bank holiday weather!!
Lots to look forward to this month, Ryans' Party at our local Wacky warehouse is May 17th (his Birthday is May 16th) he is soooo excited!! the following weekend we are staying at Marks' house on RAF Benson, for a joint birthday party for Ryan and Chloe. Then the weekend after that we go on holiday! Yippee! Busy busy busy!!
Will post my "Marilyn " progress, which isn't that much, haven't had chance to pick it up much.
