Today we had glorious weather again! Hottest day of the year :-)
Spent the morning ironing, cleaning and roasting a chicken. Then headed out to our favourite place "Eastham" with a picninc of hot dogs and shandy! I love taking hot dog buns and hot, hot dogs in a flask!! As well as a full size squeezy bottle of ketchup!
Played games (Badminton, tennis, football, frisbee) before heading home after 1 1/2 hours as Ryan had a spoilt brat tantrum!!
Turned out for the best as we had not long been home when a huge thunderstorm hit! I've not heard thunder like it in a LONG time! Lightning and terrential rain followed! Guess that spells the end of our mini heatwave!
After tea completed a little more sewing whilst watching "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom! " Classic!
Have a 9 day course starting tomorrow in work, hopefully will be a lot less stressful than of late so I'm looking forward to it :-)
Busy week this week, have to pay for Ryans party on Wednesday and go and buy his Birthday cake, and all the stuff for party bags and to give out in school. Then his Birthday is Friday ! Yippee! And his Party is on Saturday at 4pm!
